Oh, I know exactly what you are talking about. I wanted to get a DJ in a box and about fell over when they quoted me a price. Thank God there wasnt one avaiable that day cause I would have ended up telling the girl to stick it…lol

great idea on purchasing, rental companies are going to put themselves out of business with their insane prices.  just a word of advice (coming from someone who intended on reselling my stuff) you will likely loose a portion of your stuff , it happens.  For example,  all of my table numbers disappeared except for 2 of 11 tables! Who would want a table number! They cost me 18$ each so figured I’d resell, nope! The antique glass votives I purchased , photo booth props , lots missing and that was with DOC in charge of collecting .  Just wanted to let you know so you can keep close eye on everything!

@nryeager:  If at the end of your wedding you still end up with the dance floor, keep me in mind. My wedding is in October 2013.

When we booked our venue it was all hardwood floors. Now they’ve gone and carpeted everything. They want to charge to rent a dance floor from them, but we’re trying to get out of it.
