Philip Pelusi is a local “chain.” I’ve gone to 3 of their locations and am always happy with their services.

They have different “level” stylists, too, so it can be any where from $30 – $100 or so.

I would check out their website.

You could also try Pretty Hair Salon – they travel for weddings and events. My friend used them for her wedding and they were great.

Several years ago (2009-ish), I was part of a wedding that got our hair done at Capristo Salon on Ellsworth in Shadyside.  Although we only had our hair done, they also do make up, and I was over the moon with how my hair turned out.  (Having chin length, ethnic hair, I get some crazy results sometimes becuase the bridal party tends to get stuck with lower level stylists … but I digress)

I personally get my hair done at Sognatore, downtown, and am considering them for my own hair and make up.
