Well, I didn’t really want to have a “theme” to my wedding, but I guess two words we have ended up using to really describe what we’re going for is “simple & Pittsburgh.”
My mom and family have taken this “Pittsburgh” thing well beyond the food (which is what started it). It’s now incorporated into all the food, dessert, favors, decor etc. One area in which I have not figured out a way to incorporate is the guest sign-in. I know a lot of people have used many creative ways to get signatures & well wishes. I am looking for anyone who has ideas on a Pittsburgh themed guest signature collector. lol.
Thanks for your insight! Also, remember, the other thing I am going for here is simple- because I have little time and little money! haha.

You could have a guestbook made with pics of the two of you in various Pittsburgh locations.
Either use a wide mat so the guests can sign around the pictures or do little envelopes and cards like this :
You could also get post cards, vintage or otherwise, of Pittsburgh and have the guests sign those.
You could get a large poster of one of the Pittsburgh bridges and then use bird shapes to do this idea.
You get a blank artists’ canvas, have shapes cut out of colored paper, guests write wishes on the back, and attach to the canvas with pins. You end up with a piece of art from your wedding.

@MissSugarCookie: What about finding an awesome picture of the skyline of Pittsburgh framed in white matte and having the guests sign around it?
