I’m pretty sure it could do 100 people. I don’t know about 150. It has really high ceilings, but not too much floor space. But, it does have a small outside area. But despite that: THE FOOD IS SO GOOD THERE! I haven’t been there for a wedding; just for dinner; and we got a tour of the rest of the place. But it was just so yummy!!!
And if you are looking for more venue recs, take a look at the other threads. There are a lot of places mentioned.

I’m actually having my reception at the Hyeholde 🙂 We toured it a few months ago and the coordinator, Matthew, is really nice. The Round Room, where the reception will be held, is supposed to hold up to 110 people. However, having been in the room more than once, we think that anything more than 80 will be a bit cramped. We are inviting 100 people to our wedding, but we know there are some people who won’t come, which will put us right around the 80-guest mark. It’s definitely too small for 150 people.
We did have dinner there one night before we made our final decision on it as our venue, and the food is fantastic. The soup, the entree, the homemade bread – perfect. And they make their own ice cream. If you ever eat there, GET THE ICE CREAM. It’s out of this world.
They do ceremonies at the Hyeholde as well, but we decided against having our ceremony there and are having it at a nearby chapel instead. The ceremony space is outdoors, and the backup location in case of rain is the same room where the reception takes place. We just didn’t think it would be as romantic if we got rained out and had to have our processional and ceremony amidst a sea of tables and chairs. Also, an outdoor ceremony at Hyeholde is $1,000 – pretty steep!
So I’d say it’s a great place for a smaller wedding but if you’re inviting 150 people you should look elsewhere. There’s just no way they’ll all fit in there.
