I couldn’t see the picture of the veil you were thinking, but have you considered a birdcage veil?  I love those so much and they look really cute with short hair.  Also, I love your haircut! I had a pixie cut for a year but my hair grows wayyyy too fast to upkeep it.

I’ve got the same problem. But even the birdcage veils seem too much. I think I’ll just embrace the minimalism of the pixie and just have a simple headband, with some embellishment, like the one you have on in your pic.

Btw, have you seen velvet Owl’s stuff on etsy? http://www.etsy.com/shop/VelvetOwl?ref=seller_info

I think some of these would look AH-MAZing on a pixie cut bride.

p.s. love your hair. Rock it, girl.

First of all, your hair and dress together are going to be so amazing I can’t even stand it.

Second, is the headband you’re wearing in the picture the thing you want to wear to the wedding?

If so (or even if not…) I would suggest maybe going to Michael’s/Hobby Lobby/Joann’s and buying some tulle or netting to make a birdcage veil to go with it! It would cost you all of about $5!

I love your haircut! That headband looks so cute on you. The link to the veil had an error. If your looking to make one, I found these links:

I’m sure the instructions can be tweaked to go with a headband vs hair comb. Have you considered just going with the headband? I’m just thinking if you add the veil to the headband then you would have to wear it all night, or take it all off. Unless there was a way to make it removable???….

First off – I love your haircut! It’s awesome and looks fabulous with the headband you chose. I’m also with the other bees and think a birdcage will look great with your hair and the style of your dress. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!

Secondly – I’m going to be a short-haired bride too! (I cut my hair in the 6th grade and haven’t looked back since.) It makes me so happy whenever I find someone else who’s doing the same, especially when look pretty fantastic doing it.

Also, thank you for the inspiration pic. I think I may finally have the courage to give pixie a go ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the headband!  I just cut my hair off- 3 weeks to the wedding lol to a pixie from shoulder length.  I have decided I need a headband, but I have the same issue, many of them give me a headache.  Would you mind letting me know where you got it?

Definitely a sassy birdcage veil tucked underneath your headband. Love your dress and hairstyle!
