You should make place cards for anyone that will be sitting down in a chair at a table. If it is an engaged couple or a married couple, you would make one place card with both people on it – i.e. Mr. & Mrs. Smith. It doesn’t matter if they’re eating a meal or not (why would it?), it just matters that they know what table they’re sitting at.

@RhubarbPie:  I think thats escort cards.

You need one place card per seat/person.

It depends….

Are you making place cards so they know what meal they are eating, but they can sit wherever they want? Or are they place cards to direct them to which table you have them seated at?

Oh I didn’t realize we were actually talking about place cards for the tables. Are you doing escort cards and then place cards as well?

Then, yes I would make a card for everybody even if they do not have a meal so they know what table…. If it is a baby, like a newborn, then its just probably common sense that there parent knows they are sitting with them so you dont need to make them cards. But if its someone who cannot eat a meal due to food allergies or something, still make them a card so they know what table to sit at.

GOODLUK!!
