Hello Ladies and Gents,
My FH and I will be getting married on our 2nd anniversary as a couple. We are having a small wedding, 20 including us, just immediate family.
Even though our reception is small I’m doing place cards so there is no confusion or rearranging seats once someone has sat down.
However, I really want everything to be very personal including place cards. I had a suggestion from a friend since FH and I will have been together for two years on our wedding day getting pictures of everyone at two years old and using that as their place card.
What do ya’ll think of that? Is it too cheesy? Or do you have any other suggestions for personal place cards? We don’t really have a theme other than “family dinner”.

I think your idea is very cute but I would mix it up a bit. I wouldn’t want MY baby picture to be my place setting…I would rather see someone else or even you and the groom.
We opted to have a “garden party” theme to our Rehearsal Dinner and had hand painted cards made by an awesome Etsy seller. Here is a photo of ours:

Thank you. I was thinking maybe since it’s only family and we are both the babies of doing a pic of us with each person from when we were two except our nieces and nephews which we’d do one of us with them at two.

I think it’s a great idea! It only makes sense that each person have their own pic for their placecard.
If you choose not to use their pics, you could look up each person’s first name to find a pic of that character’s name in a book. Old children’s books are a great source.
