My invites go out this weekend and now I am thinking about how I will do my assinged place cards. I am having a served dinner so on the card I need to indicate what meal they picked. I also want to print them out and not handwrite them. Where is a good place to find the cards? Also do you do a couple on one card, or each person seperate? Pleae help! If you have any template please send thos too!

@riss519: I handmade my placecards and color coded them with different color backings – we did duet plate meals, so there weren’t as many to color code, which was nice. But for the people who only wanted meat, fish, or were vegetarian, we used red (meat), blue (fish), and green (vegetarian). The catering staff at our venue really appreciated that we did that – they said it made it super easy to see!

@pengoala: Thanks for the idea! Do you have a picture you can post?

I ordered my place cards from lcipaper.com and ran them through my printer at home. I ordered stamps off of etsy of a picture of a chicken, a cow and a fish and stamped them according to their meal choice and they turned out so cute! We also used them as the place cards at our rehearsal dinner and on our welcome bags too! Here’s a picture of the tags we made for our welcome bags. (I can’t find one of a name card for the wedding.)(Personal Photo)
