#3 obviously! you felt the best in it, it’s exactly what you wanted and you cried! It seems easy to me. There are LOTS of beautiful dresses out there, not just one and you will look amazing in #3 on your wedding day!

Please don’t let “the moment” be the end-all, be-all of your decision.

I had “the moment” with a dress I did not buy, and am now glad that I did not. Seriously, I stood there and cried, and hugged my mom, and all of that. Left it in the store so I could sleep on it, and never looked back. My current dress I did not have the moment with, but I know it’s a nicer dress, it’s more unique, and it’s more flattering. Not to mention the fact that these forums are FULL of ladies who had THE MOMENT and then later got serious dress regret.

Part of the reason I think that people are saying the Watters is boxy is this: You’re short, so you have a short waist anyway (obviously). Then throw in the fact that you have really big boobs, and your waist looks even shorter. This dress takes almost all your remaining waist real estate, and fills it up with giant flowers. Is that just a belt? Could you take another pic, flat-footed and without the flowers, and then see what everyone thinks?

I don’t think it’s the fact that it’s the ballgown that makes the Watters look a bit off. I think it’s the flowers (which are way too big on a diminutively sized girl) and the fact that it might be compressing your boobs, making them take up more vertical space. YOU ARE NOT FAT.

Part of me feels like you think you look more bridal in the third one because it’s a ballgown. From childhood, we have been told that that’s what a wedding dress looks like. Some people are able to shake that off, and rock the mermaid or a tea length, but some of us (myself included) never are. If you can’t make the Watters work, I’d look at other ballgowns. Though 1 and 2 are flattering, you seem to be drawn to the third one more, and to me the only sensible thing to do would be to try to find a dress that incorporates what you like about 3 without the things that you don’t like.

@angelinthesnowxo:  Honestly, they all look freakin’ amazing on you. I can’t imagine why you are body-conscious, you have a gorgeous figure. Considering your reaction I’d have to say you MUST go with #3..you cried? I didn’t even cry! So yea, #3 is the dress for you. I thought #1 and #2 were very flattering to your figure because it really showed off your curves, but #3 is a gorgeous dress on or off of you. I love the tulle-is that tulle? I love the antique look too. And, the way the tulle is draped down the front of the bodice is unlike anything I’ve seen, it’s very couture.

It’s hard to judge from these photos since we can’t see your whole body from he front except for in 3. But from what I can see, I’d say 1 or 2, but definitely not 3. Something about 3 makes your beautiful, slim waist disappear.

Personally I prefer the 2nd dress on you. However; you rambled on about the 3rd dress. You cried with the 3rd dress on. Your MOM cried with you in the 3rd dress. Sounds like you answered your own question. You look beautiful in all of them. Its about what makes you feel beautiful and bridal and thats all that matters. From what you posted, the 3rd dress is the dress you will be walking down the isle in. Good luck!

Not a lot of women can pull of a gown like the 3rd, I couldnt because Im a plus size and I think plus size women have this idea that they cant wear something more fitted or that they need to wear something like Watters… which is not the case. You have a small enough waiste and body frame to pull that dress off quite frankly and when its sized properly it would look even better. Just because you are a thinner woman, doesnt mean you have to wear dresses that are form fitting. The watters dress is beauitful and I can tell even by your body expression that you like it better.

    Go with your gut. period.

@angelinthesnowxo:  Maybe if you spun the belt so that the flowers were on the side more instead of in the middle, you might look more cinched in. Or if you got a belt with less embellishment.

@angelinthesnowxo:  I got the L854 by Romona Keveza. I had actually fallen in love with a picture of a similar dress by her that was fuller awhile ago and totally forgot aout it until they pulled out the sample of the L854 at Ready or Knot. I didn’t cry but I knew I was ready to buy without agnozing over the choice. I had almost put a deposit down on a Marisa, Lusan Mandongus, and Mori Lee at that point but I couldn’t do it because every time I looked at the pictures I was worried about regretting them.

I still think about some of the other dresses, but I don’t feel regret (though it makes me want to do a vow renewal and wear them too lol). My first really emotional moment was in Pronovias Bali but it wasn’t my dress or even a top contender in the end. I guess it wasn’t so much a crying type emotion when I found my dress but just a sense of peace. Hopefully it’ll be clear to you which is the right choice when you try them on again. I tried on my top dresses at least twice (had to double check the Romona to make sure I wasn’t just caught up the first time – personal rule not to buy the first time I tried anything).

I voted for the first dress, but all of them are really pretty! 🙂

Girl, I think you’ve already chosen #3 : ) BUT try them all on again. Whatever you choose everyone gets dress regret…it’s like a bridal plague lol. I picked “the dress!” had it ordered, and a few weeks was told they were no longer making it and had to order something else! I was upset, but ended up with a dress that in retrospect, was perfect! So no matter what happens, you have great options here and you’ll be beautiful and happy on your wedding day!
