I think they look great together. I see how you might want a thinner band to complement it, but to get a ring only slightly different when you’ve got a ring with sentimental value seems unnecessary. If you want a different band, a plain one the same width as your ering could be nice.
And because ring porn’s fun, here’s my plain band set.

@asscherlover: It’s funny you say this! I was just playing around with another ring I have which I flipped to look like a plain band and sat it right where you’ve mentioned to 🙂

Just a quick update! Wore both rings around for an hour tonight and I’m going with the sentimental band 🙂 Only took an hour for me to love them together, just need to have them resized as they’re falling off due to weight-loss/winter!
