So I’m a nurse and an ambulance officer, so can’t wear anything too flashy. My engagement ring (when I do wear it) gets worn on my right hand, and my eternity band on my left (We have two children). We get married next month, and I still haven’t picked out a wedding band. Do you think a plain white gold band, or a carved engraved band would look better next to my eternity ring?
Its 18ct white gold with 0.25ct baguette diamonds in it. I’m not sure whether plain would look best, just a 2mm plain band, or whether to get a nice engraved/carved one. What do you think?
Something along the lines of:
Edited to add a photo of my E ring 🙂

i like the carved/engraved one best.. but im also not sure how it will look next to it. try some on in the store to get a better idea. If there is any time you would just be wearing the band i would deff go for the engraved one i like it a lot 🙂

I’d put a super thin band on either side of the eternity, either engraved or maybe hammered. It would be fun if you did a different color gold, rose gold would be gorgeous!

I have this ring in silver as my temporary wedding band I adore it. The detail is so pretty. You can get it oxidized or shiny. Mine is oxidized because I love the detail and wanted to see it. The ring is much shinier than in the photo even when oxidized, and the photos look bronzy but the ring isn’t.

Fiance works with his hands so his band is plain, mine is milligrain with a wave pattern. I like the engraved ring but would suggest no more than 14k so that the engraving wears well.
