I’m interested to hear how you feel about the width of your plain bands, particularly if you wear it without an e-ring some of the time. How wide is it, and are you happy with it? What widths did you consider? Do you have a picture? Post your ring size and width with it, if you have one!
I bought myself a couple cheapie test-rings off Amazon, to try on a couple different options for a few days. I kind of thought I’d find 4mm too narrow for my preferences, but I’m kind of loving it. I don’t like the wider ones as much as I’d thought.

I’m trying to figure out the same thing right now. I ordered cheapie steel 2mm and 3mm bands. I want a width that will look good both with my ering and on its own. The band has to be on the thinner side, since my ering’s got a dinky <2mm band. I’m going to try 2.5mm, because 2mm looks too skinny on its own, and 3mm is a bit thick to wear with my ering.

I have a plain band I wear by itself sometimes and it’s only 2mm wide. I like it because it’s super simple. it’s also very comfortable (the width makes a difference, and my ring is also a comfort fit band).
I think it looks pretty, dainty, and elegant on its own. personally I don’t like wide bands at all though.

My band is still being made (hopefully it’s done soon). Got a 3mm. I was all about the thick bands and I still am. For the longest time I was looking at a 4 or 5mm band. Unfortunately the ring I fell in love with only came in a 3 or 3.5mm and we couldn’t justify spending the extra several hundred for .5 more ring. So, 3mm it is. That and my guy preferred the 3 to the 4. Compromise. 🙂 My ering is 3mm as wel so it will make for a nice pairing.
