Just for my viewing pleasure and because I’m bored at the moment – Bees I hardly ever see completely plain bands with completely plain solitaires in real life or on here. In general if I do it will be on someone who has been married for 10-20 some years. So does anyone out there have a plain band with zero stones with a plain solitaire? 🙂
Note: I love fancy rings, too – So this is just for fun and to see more rings like mine that use to be pretty common, but not as much anymore. Hope that makes sense.

I love the look of plain solitaires with plain wedding bands 🙂 I don’t have a photo of me wearing a wedding band with my e-ring but here is my e-ring and the wedding band I want to get 🙂

I’ve been married 26 years. My wedding ring is a 1.9mm 18k yellow gold D-shaped ring. It used to be a 2mm ring but 0.1mm of gold have disappeared due to wear over the years. At the time in Britain there weren’t many wedding rings with diamonds set in them.
My diamond ring is a 0.51 GVS1 H&A round brilliant set in an 18k yellow gold setting. The prongs are yellow gold too. The ring was a present from my husband and daughter for my 50th birthday. It was chosen specifically to match but not overpower my wedding ring.
I think that because the diamond ring was chosen to match my wedding ring the two rings look better together than either of them look apart.

@Supersleuth: I have recently seen your ring in another thread and I must say I gasped! I love them! So elegant and classic, and I love the size of your stone! (Mine is under .50, and I just adore diamonds on a “smaller” scale!) Just gorgeous!

Really beautiful rings. 🙂

Here’s mine. Plain heirloom band with solitaire ring. I love the simplicity of them but since being on the bee I admit I would like a little more sparkle…

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: I always felt like a plain solitaire and plain band were the quintessential engagement/wedding ring combo. But you’re right, I hardly see any on the Bee!
Here are mine
And with DH’s (whose band is also plain)
