Here you go 🙂 I loved my statement necklace! I think it’s Vera Wang that I got from Kohl’s.

I like the plain gown-statement accessories look too, but I think the accessories need to look classy and not be  just big ‘fun’ pieces. The gold rose necklace lllussier posted above  is , for instance,  very elegant , but some of the others I find very.. well..  clunky and I can’t see how they would not take attention from the dress, ( and  not in a good way ) . Just  my opinion of course !

I have a simple maggie sottero I’m using for a night time backyard wedding. It is currently 4 sizes too big and waiting to be altered. The accesories are a must though, given that is how people recognize my style daily. I keep my attire simple and switch up accesories daily, plus I love belts that shape up a waistline. To give you an idea, on a normal day I would wear a long button down 3/4″ blouse with black leggings and super thin belt with pop of color and wedges. I live in Miami so we have the advantage of heat and city style.  With that said, I decided to get a sash that really worked well with my tuscan theme.

I love statement necklaces but we each have to do what really is our unique style sense. I’m more of a big earrings kind of girl. This is due to my long curly volumed hair or small earring would disappear behind it all. So here are the pieces I currently have.

I got married in a mid century style home with tons of pops of color, funky furniture & decor. I did two different looks with my plain dress.
