I like the extra sparkle that the diamond band adds, and I love the look of a plain band next to one with diamonds. My e-ring has channel set rounds and I’m thinking of going with a ribbon band with no diamonds versus one with diamonds for the contrast.

I like both! But I do find that with the plain band, my attention is almost completely on your e-ring. With the diamond one, my attention’s split between the two.

I like the diamond band more, but both look great with your e-ring.

Solitaire and plain band is so classic and elegant. I’d go with that. You can always add bling the other side for an eternity ring when you want to.

I prefer a blinged band with my plain solitaire because I know that I won’t wear my solitaire all the time. Either way though you can’t go wrong ☺️

I’m very biased towards a diamond wedding band…that was the one I picked to go with my solitaire.

Go plain and add an eternity for a special occasion later.

I’m normally a fan of a plain wedding band with a solitaire, but in your case, the diamond band looks more pleasing. Maybe if the plain band were a bit thinner and not so flat?
My wedding band is a 2mm white gold milgrain band; I like the classic-with-a-twist look.

I love the diamond band with the solitaire because you already have a plain band on the solitaire.
There are so many wedding band options though and you can get really creative with solitaires so I say look around a bit before you make your choice. I personally really like the engraved bands without diamonds and the dot and eye bands with diamonds.

is that an asscher cut? *swoon* so beautiful!
OP- I am partial to solitaire with a diamond band, so that’s where my vote goes!

Diamond band gets my vote!

I like the plain a lot with it. That being said, have you tried something like a micropave/ pave trio with it? It made my solitaire the shining show while still having glitz of its own. Just an idea.
