littlewhale:  I’m not sure if they do custom, but they have tons of options! Mine is European dome, so it’s a flattened dome. It sounds like it’s possibly the same as what you are describing.

I chose a diamond band to go with my solitaire, but if I had to do it again, I would go with a plain band. Not even 3 days after our wedding, a diamond was lost while I took a nap! ๐Ÿ™

Diamond band. I actually dislike that plain one you posted for some reason. Sorry.

I have 2 simple diamond bands-one on each side of my solitaire. And nope I’m not even married yet-when that happens we will add another simple band.

I was originally planning to get a diamond band (in fact we found the wedding band before even getting my e-ring.) Then I was trying out a plain band recently and fell in love. It was so striking and looked so clean and crisp and elegant; I found that my eye kept being drawn to my hand. I did a bit of research and found that I could get a plain band and a thin eternity band for the same or lesser cost than that original wedding band we’d found, so that’s our new plan.

I have a friend who has a very thin gold wedding band with small diamonds across the top 1/2 of the band. The sparkle catches my eye every time I see it.

By the way, my band is flat with a slight dome, much like yours. I think it’s a perfect style to match with a plain band.

I adore solitaires with plain bands, there is just something so timeless and beautiful about it. ๐Ÿ™‚

SweetBeets:  Your band is stunning. If you don’t mind me asking, what are the specs?

Sparrow09:  Thank you so much ๐Ÿ˜€

It is from whiteflash- the “Kimberly Ring”

9 diamond half eternity; all hearts and arrows cut (that was the only option); 1.26 ctw- so about .14 each; VS; color G; size 6 ring

When we were looking, I had a difficult time finding a U-prong band I liked. Funny I ended up finding it on the same place he got my e-ring! These are from the website:

This is from me:

EDIT- Woah, tried editing to make pics smaller but they don’t end up smaller in the post. sorry about that!

I usually am all for adding more bling, but in this case I think the plain band is stunning and really lets your center stone shine!
