You should try both solitaire and with side stones. Mine has a 1/3 carat center 1/10 side stones, just enough for extra sparkle

I heart plain solitaires but I have one.  I liked your pic of the 3 stone plus the small sides, if you like that go for it!

Personal preference. Pick what FEELS best, both literally and figuratively.

I think probably solitare But as other bees have said you need to try a few as you may be surprised what suits.  i always thought I wanted a halo cushion with diamonds in the band and had pictures in my mind just like you. When we went shopping to see what was out there, I just wasnt that in love with ones we tried.  My chap asked me to try a classic solitare with platinum band as that style is his favourite, just to see what it was like.   Turns out I love them and we will be going for cushion cut solitare and plain band, not with diamonds in it.  So try lots on, just to see.  You may end up with something completely different!

lovekiss:  lovekiss: I love your ring! I want something that looks like a solitaire, with just a little extra and yours is perfect.  I like that the side stones are flush with the band. Im having a hard time finding places with this type of setting. Where is yours from?
