ashleymarie843 : I found one for under $100 from YourDreamDress.com. This site has EXCELLENT customer service. They are totally legitimate (I was at first worried about buying wedding related stuff online from a site I hadn’t heard of before). I got one that was a plain cathedral length with a comb that attaches in. I first ordered it in ivory and white to try on with a few dress choices. I kept the one I want and returned the other one (yes they allow returns!!!!)

I bought one from Amazon for roughly $20 that was plain tulle. I also bought one that had lace since they were both prime and I could return the one I didn’t like. They were both nice and I decided the day of the wedding which to go with (lace). But the other was a cathedral length veil that was simple, plain tulle. If you have Amazon Prime, go for that! Easy returns.
I did order a custom lace veil from Etsy that did not work out and I couldn’t return it. Actually–full disclaimer…I bought about 5 veils. GAH! One from the bridal salon…couldn’t return it when I changed my mind. One from Etsy—lace didn’t match, and couldn’t return it. 3 from Amazon.com, returned one because the lace didn’t match and it was poor quality. (2 I kept and decided between on the day of). AND…then I saw a photo of Lauren Conrad’s drop veil and I thought, “I can make that!!” so I went to JoAnn’s Fabrics and $7 later I had tulle to make my own veil, (which I did).
I took the home made veil…and the 2 Amazon Veils and decided between the 3 on the morning of the wedding. All that to say….Amazon. 🙂
