I can’t decide between a plain wedding band and diamond wedding band! I think a plain wedding band band would be nice but I do like the idea of of a diamond band. The gold band would be white gold and the diamond band would be made thinner to match my e-ring! I’m torn! Thoughts? Thank you!

I loooooove the look of a plain band with a solitaire, so my vote is for the plain band. It also helps your main diamond stand out more!
Curious- is the diamond band chanel set?

I like both, so i would probably find a way to get both. After all, choices are nice. I would prob. do the diamond for the wedding, night outs, feeling sparkly days and special occasions. Then have the plain band for every day chores, traveling, outfits and occasions that require less bling and gym time.

I originally bought a diamond band similar to your first pic, but then had “plain band envy”…. So I ended up exchanging it for band closer to plain (but still a little scattered diamond sparkle). With your set I prefer the plain! They just have a classic, elegant, understated, “nothing to prove” vibe. And it leaves room to grow. You could get a diamond band for your 5 or 10 year anniversary or something.

Never hurts to have more diamonds! I vote for the diamond band.

I think it depend on the E-Ring. Those who have diamond E-Ring then a diamond wedding band would match more with the looks…. But from the 2 pictures that OP posted, I prefer the 2nd picture…. Well, I’m a simple girl so I prefer the simple looks.
I didn’t have an engagement ring, I choose not to have one…. Me and my husband only wear one ring on our hand, and that is our matching wedding gold band…. I wear a 3mm band, and he wear a 6mm band.
OP, may I ask in the 2nd picture of yours, how many mm is that gold plain band?…. I have a 3mm gold plain band, but somehow the width seem thin on my finger…. Maybe because I don’t have an Engagement Ring, so the band alone itself make it look thin?
Here my 3mm, why the heck my gold 3mm wedding band look ridiculously thin!! Argg!!!

I had the exact same problem…i think we’re ring twins too. I ended up getting the diamond band just so if I wasn’t wearing my engagement ring, I’d still have the bling lol. I like both the plain and diamonds though.

I vote for both. Plain band is a forever one, and diamonds are so shiny… Why don’t you want to buy one for wedding and another for anniversary?

Plain band, all the way, unless you only ever want 2 rings. The classic combination, if you plan to get 3, is an engagement ring, plain band and then the diamond band. If you get the diamond band as your wedding ring, adding a third ring will be too much I think, in terms of differences between them. I like the three rings being quite clearly about the different stages – the engagement, the wedding, and at a later stage the continued commitment of the marriage
Depends where you are though. In the UK, the plain band is still the most popular choice.

with your e ring I like the plain band, but I personaly will be looking for a diamond band.

I like the plain band best. The combination to me is elegant and classic. Diamond e-ring and diamond band is a little too much for me, but that’s just me.

For this ER I think a diamond wedding band. Personally I like the look of 2 different styled bands next to each other, it makes them both noticible if that makes sense. My ER is a solitaire with pave band so my wedding band will be plain.

I really think the channel set diamond band in a thinner version would look great! Of course a plain band will always look good but I like the added sparkle of a diamond band.

I think the plain band looks nicer with your e-ring.

Usually I go for the diamonds, but I really love your plain band best!
