I have had a CZ dress ring for 20 years, and now i think its cloudy and needs replacing, but it took a long time before it needed replacing. a Moissanite sounds like a good swap, but maybe you wont even need that yet?

I haven’t gotten my band yet either…but I do know my FH wants a PLAIN PLAIN band and I will probably get one to match. I do like the look of plain bands. Its classic!

Here is my set! I can’t wait to wear it!! I think it’s very classic.

I love my plain band! It’s low-maintenance and can be worn all the time. I love that as I’ve worn it, it’s developed a warm glow and little dings in the gold. Reminds me of how far we’ve come already. 🙂
Something blingy that needs cleaning and attention would be too much of a PITA for me! I’ll save that stuff for the anniversary jewelry, haha.

@FutureMrs.Wood: Thank you so much for posting this. The plain band is simple, clean, classic and a symbol of pure, unending love. We haven’t bought our wedding rings yet, but I am thinking of a simple band with milgrain for both of us. Until my mom died a few years ago, both she and my father wore this type of band. My father still wears his. To me it is the definition of a wedding band. Eternity bands and the like are beautiful, but they don’t complete with the classic elegance of a plain band.
The other thing is that it it practical and somewhat carefree – gunk won’t get caught in it all the time like bands with stones in them.

Two plain bands for me! I like how they don’t take the focus away from the ering.

This picture is one that made me want a plain band over a blingy one…it is SUCH a beautiful picture and set! Love it!

I love, love, LOVE your plain 3 mm band! I ended up with a custom made diamond channel set band as my wedding band. We reused the diamonds from an anniversary band and had them set in platinum to match my ering metal. For our one year anniversary, I realllllllllllly want a plain comfort-fit band with engraving on the inside.
I adore your wedding set! So classic and beautiful on you.

I LOVE a plain wedding band. It’s so simple but even when worn alone, you know what it symbolizes… So i got two! I love that they do not take away from my e-ring and i’m also a fan of symmetry.

Here’s mine! I’ve always wanted a plain band. I like the symbolism, and I’ve always liked the simple look. I may get an anniversary band later, and I don’t want too much going on. 🙂

I love your rings!!
I also really love all three of your/your husband’s rings!
I love a plain band as well! Its 2mm 10k yellow gold. My husband plans to get me a diamond anniversary band for when I just want to wear a band (as my e-ring & wedding band are going to be soldered together to keep them for moving away from each other during the day.)
