Highly recommend working with a planner.

jordobrooke:  Such a shame. Its an amazing wide world out there, don’t understand limiting yourself or those around you. Yeah, she probably will freak out a bit!

jordobrooke:  I appologize for thread hijacking, this will be the last. Set boundaries. Easier said than done but it is worth it. My mother was the same way, she wanted me to call her every night after I locked the hotel room behind me. I travel and toured for a living. It was rediculous. I had to lay boundaires after a point- “I am an adult and am fully capable of taking care of myself domestically and internationally. I do not need to be watched over like a child away from mommy for the first time.” Something of that nature. She wasn’t happy but backed off. Your Fiance may have to do the same.

As for eloping- have fun! Ireland is amazing! Have a safe trip through Europe. There are many threads asking for recomendations. You can look those us or post your own when you are ready.

We are getting married at a castle in Enland then going to champagne (to drink champagne) and Paris For our honeymoon. The cost of the whole thing is a fraction of what a wedding would be. I have the whole thing meticulously planned….PM me if interested.
