I’ve been to Aruba and really liked it. There’s stuff to do in town, natural places to explore, and beach to hang out on.

Places in the US that I’ve been to and liked include New Orleans (although I’ve only been pre-Katrina), Arizona, and San Diego.

When I’m looking at vacations there’s a few different ways I do things. I always book online, though. Sometimes I just look at sites like TravelZoo that have deals for all around the world. But that way you only get links to the “best” deals, so if you want to go somewhere in particular that might not work. If I have somewhere specific I use website like Travelocity, Expedia and Hotwire to compare prices of different hotels. I usually also check out the hotel website, even if I’m booking through somewhere else. For airfare I highly recommend fly.com and kayak.

Good luck!

You could do a five night cruise from Miami to the Caribbean.  Pretty affordable because everything (except alchohol) is included and very relaxing.

In May my bf and I stayed at Breezes all-inclusive resort in the Bahamas. I thought it was a good deal for the money, since the room, food, drinks, some activities were all included in one price (and tipping isn’t allowed). The beach was gorgeous! If your looking for a fun place to get a decent deal for your money then I’d suggest Breezes. If you want a more quiet, romantic getaway then this probably wouldn’t be the right place. Happy planning!
