Can you post a picture of it? I think it will depend on what it looks like :). Also–that sounds like an amazing party!

I think it would be totally! I love the thought of a masquerade themed wedding. Hmm… what does your dress look like?

For a mask I would think something that is bridal looking, as in white with sparkles of some kind, gold or silver leaf, filigree or some embellishment, would be fantastic!

Here, watch this a lot! lol

I say go for it!  Most brides don’t have a chance to wear their gown again.

Maybe make a coat to go over it like this?

If I’m being totally honest, I would find it odd.. if you dyed it, I’d find it less odd, but yeah- I think a wedding dress is a one-time wear thing, unless you wear it for a renewal

I think that would work with a colored jacket and some colored jewelry. I would put as much color into it as you can so that you don’t look too bridal :). And that’s a gorgeous dress, I can totally see why you’d want to wear it again!

Hmmm, if I were you I’d go to some department stores and look at sale racks. One time I found a gown for 20$ at Nieman Marcus, another time I found a gown for $40 at Carson Perie Scott.. its easier to find deals in person than online usually (sometimes they’ll just have one left so it wouldn’t be advertised online)

@SnowPeony: I think a sash will definitely help, just make sure it’s a rich color and not a pastel :).
