Has anyone been to Montreal for a Bachelorette or even just a vacation? We’ve got accomadations booked for a handful of the brides nearest and dearest in Old Port so we will be walking distance to most things we want to do. I am overwhelmed at the sheer amount of options of bars/clubs/terrasses and would love specific recommendations if anyones got them. Preferably not places with a suuuper young crowd as we are nearing our thirties.
We have two nights and I’d love to find a balance of fancy places mixed with lower cost just to keep it affordable for everyone. We are all driving up together and splitting gas so transportation costs will be very miniminal and the loft we booked was around $70 per person for both nights which everyone was on board with (I sent about a dozen different options ranging from $50 a night to $100 a night and everyone decided on one togther)
Ideas I’ve come up with so far:
-Renting quadricycles and biking the old port
-Walking around and exploring some landmarks (Notre dame bascilica), pop in to shops, check out some parks
-Terrasse bonsecour looks awesome but the menu looked on the more expensive side ($15+ cocktails) but might go there anyways because of the view
-I was thinking a BYOW place for dinner would be cool, bride loves Italian
-Obviously getting poutine. Probably several of them 😀
-thinking of getting breakfast items/mimosas to do breakfast each day at our airbnb to cut cost
-i want to make Bachelorette survival kit/favours… is this weird? do people do this? I was thinking of Mini champagnes Gatorade, water, advil, chapstick, gum or mints. Thoughts/suggestions?
I love the bride so much and want to make it a really awesome time for all the girls so any tips or tricks are greatly appreciated 🙂
