So, I am a senior this year… suppose to graduate in May but all I can think is wedding this and wedding that. It wasnt an issue last semester but as the day gets closer I easily get distracted… so now I promise myself I will only breath and talk wedding on the weekends. I already obtain a full time job in my field and on top of school I have a very busy work schedule… sometimes I drift away lost in thought… what’s a girl to do.
We are getting married on August 27th, 2011. I am a DIY bride ( trying to do as much as possible) I have done my invitations (pocketfolds) of which I will be uploading picture. I am doing my own aisle runner from scratch this should be interesting. I just bought some shoes I totally love but now I am nervous that 4″ heels stillettos might be to high… so seriously considering getting some other shoes instead no more than 3″ heels, plus some flip flops. I am decorating the shoes my self… blinging the heel, doing a shoe fascinator etc…
the list goes on and on and on….
I also worked with a designer on Etsy and she made my flower girl basket and ring bearer pillow ( is actually really easy to make 🙂 but I really like her work and is not like I dont have enough projects of my own) I also got a pen tied in ribbons and feathers with a big flower. Our wedding colors are champagne, gold, and crimson red.

Girl, don’t even get me started lol. I’m a Jr. in college and just failed another class because of trying to be a full time student, work full time, and plan the wedding. It is sooo hard.

I actually decided to skip this semester I just couldnt imagine working full time and going to school full time, or even half time, and plan the wedding. And i’m glad I made that choice, my days are just not long enough these days! It would’ve crushed me if I failed a class or had to drop it. I’ll just play catch up in the summer.

I took the semester off too. It was too much for me.

It’s hard and now failing these classes irritates me more because my graduation date is getting pushed back.

My Fiance is in school and just can’t take talking wedding at all right now. We’re taking a break from anything major until he’s finished at the end of April. Luckily I forsaw this as being a problem and got a ton of stuff done early.

I completely understand !
My SO and I, are both Juniors in college and the wedding is set for 3 weeks before our college graduation! I just started planning and it feels like the wedding is taking up all my brain space. Actually right now, I should be writing a 3 page essay due on Tuesday but I’m on WeddingBee instead.

THIS! Work full time, school full time (on scholarship so I can’t fail or else everything gets taken away!), and wedding in June this year… possible? I hope so, lol.
@KatherineM, I feel you completely. Just pace yourself, it will all fall into place. Just keep yourself level headed, that’s what I try to do.
