@KaylaJ:  My wedding was in the spring, but we went to Maui and I’m pretty sure it’s gorgeous weather all year round! (We are from Oahu.) Good luck deciding!

Yes I’m trying to figure out the same thing.. AND when is the best time to book? I want a good deal on an all inclusive.. So do I book WAY in advance for the best price, or wait until closer to the date?

Or do I just continue looking into it until a big sale?

Let me know i fyou find anything!!

we are going to Couples Negril for our honeymoon in February but we have been there before and it’s rediculously amazing.   we can’t bring ourselves around to going anywhere else.

We are looking at swinging through Australia, possibly Singapore or Thailand, and then somewhere in French Polynesia to “relax”.

We’ve started booking stuff now (but I’m a planner). We’ll leave the Monday after our Saturday wedding and come back on the 4rd of October. We’re going to Spain and Italy!

Aww, I’m a September bride and I NEED to be thinking about my honeymoon (but I’m too busy having a meltdown…I’ll have to make thread about that later). FH says he wants me to have the fairytale honeymoon of my dreams. IDK where exactly I want to go, but my two major factors are SECLUSION and LUXURY.  There’s a hotel in Puerto Rico called Ciqala Suites where the suites come with a personal chef.  That’s very up-my-alley.  Previously, I wanted to go someplace I’d never been for our honeymoon but I’m starting to change my mind because we intend to spend a LOT of time in the room (heh) and I don’t want it to feel like a waste that I didn’t get out and see the sites.  For similar reasons, we always vacay in familiar locales.

I am looking right now too, and my Fiance would like to travel to Europe, perhaps a cruise, but flights are expensive.  We are open to ideas too.  Tips on best websites or agents would be greatly appreciated!

http://Www.gate1travel.com is my #1 source for planning exotic excursions. I booled Morocco and Thailand through them. Can’t say enough good things. You’re kinda on a schedule but its not super strict. If u want an active honeymoon, I say browse their site and see what deals they have!

@Overjoyed:  +1 for Gate 1. My mom loves those guys, she travels overseas 2x a year and they’ve taken her to India, Dubai, and Thailand.

We have decided to take a cruise to the carribbean. Instead of going right after the wedding we are waiting until Feb 2014. we can save over $1500 for the trip plus it will be winter time at home and who wants to be in the snow!

We are going to St. John’s, Antigua! We originally wanted to go somewhere on the pacific coast (HURRICANE SEASON in the Carribbean) and were ready to book Costa Rica. Turns out, the only month it rains in Costa Rica is September. We decided to go to the Carribbean and just buy trip insurance, in the event there is a hurricane afterall.
