Hi All ~ I got engaged about a month ago, and we’re planning a late January wedding in Atlanta….from China! The timeline is a bit insane, but I think we can do it!
So far, my parents have helped me to select the ceremony and reception site (hoping to finalize contracts this week). We’ll have a family acquaintance / planner-on-the-side to help select and coordinate vendors and wedding day coordination.
Things are going OK so far, but I’d love to hear from other remote planners on how to effectively plan / communicate from abroad. Any tips or things to look out for? I’m already realizing that despite the 12 hr time difference — a scheduled phone call can be far more efficient than back and forth emails. Thanks in advance!
