My advice would be: delegate the whole thing right away and do not get involved. if you start to get involved, you will become tagled up in the organisation. Like you, i am the organised one who tends to get things done amongst my friends. and I made the mistake of starting on one booking for my hen do (I’m in the UK), big mistake, my Maid/Matron of Honor is now relying on me to carry the whole organisation, pay deposits etc and coming to me with questions etc..it has taken the surprise out of it. This might be the one thing you can actually delegate during your wedding planning! – do it 🙂

I agree with Mrs-v-to-be. Delegate away. Go to your Maid/Matron of Honor or one of your bridesmaids and say, “Here you go. I want something like xyz and I specifically don’t want abc, but the rest is up to you. Surprise me and have fun with it.”
