I am planning my special day for New Years Eve Brunch 2011, I’m looking for any suggestions anyone has as to making my wedding brunch special.
Thanks

Brunch is a nifty idea, and that is what I am doing for my wedding at 41 years of age.
What kind of special are you looking for? You have so much NYE decor to choose from . . .
Congrats…I am getting married this NYE – both of us have been married before, so we are really leaning on the NYE party theme rather than a wedding type theme. My best idea is using big martini glasses as center pieces with christmas ornaments in them. (They’ll be for sale after the wedding – if you are interested, be happy to send pictures) –
Have fun with the NYE theme – it’s so much fun!
At my church they do a burning bowl ceremony– you write down something on a piece of paper you want to let go of–bad habit, personal flaw, something bad that happed that year–and you burn it over a bowl.
Then you take something like a large fake coin or a stone, generally something that wont disintegrate in your pocket or purse and you write down something that you want to take with you into the new year.
