Well I’ve decided I’d really like to lose about 10-15/20 lbs. Purely for my self esteem. And let me tell you why.
I was 120lbs before I went to America this summer. Before this summer I got depo because I was spending 3 months with my boyfriend in America (he lives there). And because of depo, it caused a HUGE jump in appetite. And I gained about 20lbs over three months (due to lack of self discipline really). So I felt like complete crap and horrible. At my heaviest I was 140 (though my boyfriend and his family said it really wasn’t noticeable, but I think it was).
However, it’s now worn out of my system. And the past 3 weeks, I’ve lost 10lbs just because of stress and university. Which now makes me at 130.
I’d really like to get down to 120-110, and I’d LOVE to lose weight off my thighs and arse (which are my danger areas). Boyfriend is not happy about this but I said if it’ll increased my self esteem, it will make me happier and that’ll be good for the both of us. I have deep-rooted self esteem issues for a huge number of reasons.
So what is the best way? Weightwatchers and exercise? Cutting down on food and portion sizes? I do plan on going to the gym, possibly 2 hours a day for 5 days a week. I wish I could afford a personal trainer but that’s not possible on my student budget lol… Weight loss stories are VERY welcome!
I’m thinking to keep me motivated, I will start writing a blog of some sort, to document it. I know that will keep me going. What else do you all do for motivation?
