Your ideas sound like so much fun!

The only thing I wanted to add is using a deck of cards for your place cards.

You could also use a mirror with the number drawn on it for your table numbers.  Or number your “Drink Me” bottles for the table numbers.

Love your ideas though!  So cool!

One more!  Depending on how many tables you have, you can forgo the traditional numbers (1, 2, 3…) and name then after locations that Alice visited: Queen Of Heart’s Palace table, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party table, Cheshire Cat’s table, etc.

Ah, I’ll be super jealous if you get to have the hookah bar. I wanted to as well but our venue won’t allow it, and they’re really strict about it here.

Love the theme (although, I’m biased since we’re doing AIW as well )

David Tutera did an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding on My Fair Wedding. I would look into that, and I know it turned out really cool. But of course, he shells out a lot of money for top notch vendors, so trying to recreate it by DIY will be different, but it should give some good ideas.

Just make sure that your Fiance is truly okay with this, I would wait a couple of weeks for him to process it, because he may have been dreaming of a more traditional wedding his whole life (Obviously I don’t know him and you would be a better judge of that)

This looks like a lot of work you are getting yourself into, if all done well it could be pretty neat though. Good luck.

Is your fiance getting a say in all this?  There’s a lot of “I”. I get that you once vaguely ran it past him, but now its actually happening maybe it’s time to turn the “I” in to a “we”?

Is that 2014 date correct?  You’ll need lots of time to get all these fun DIYs done!  You’ll have to keep us posted on how these all turn out.

@octohands:  Well that’s awesome!  You have some really great ideas here.  I know I won’t be the only one watching to see how everything turns out.

Wow. Just, wow! I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of this! You obviously have an extremely creative eye and are really talented at this! I can’t wait to see how your projects turn out – this all looks really fantastic!! πŸ˜€

P.S. I see either you or Fiance are a Tim Burton fan as well πŸ™‚ I would have loved to have had Corpse Bride as a theme for our wedding coz it’s such a beautiful story, but Fiance looked at me as though I had suggested we get married on Mars or something…I guess he’s not so visionary ;D
