@kelly2011: Sounds like lots of fun!

I am going to my grandma’s tomorrow to get her house decorated for Christmas so she’ll be surprised when she comes back home.  She’s out of state visiting her dying brother, so we figured it would help lift her spirits a little! 🙂

Other than that, I think we are just going to finish up with our tree and maybe clean our house a little…I’m just hoping for a somewhat lazy weekend overall.

Going out to dinner tomorrow with FI’s friend and his Fiance, who are getting married 2 weeks before us, then going to meet with our florist Sunday–so excited!

And I really need to start studying for my GMATs but w/ the wedding planning it’s so hard to think about grad school…

I’m not sure. Tomorrow is a sort of anniversary for us ( not the official one) so SO and I might go to where it all started.

Sunday we’re going to a christmas luncheon after church.

We put up our tree today, it’s real and we need to let it settle a bit, so we’re going to decorate it on sunday. On saturday there is a christmas parade/tree lighting downtown so I’m taking my kids to that while my SO is working. Saturday Night, I always watch SNL and drink a bit of wine once the kids are in bed. Low-key weekend for us!

Tomorrow is a game night with his family and then Sunday we are getting our Christmas pictures done. I’m so excited to get them back! I’m glad it’s his SIL that does them so we know exactly how long it will take. Last year we got them all back within a week!

ETA: I’m also taking our son to get his picture taken with Santa. It’s his first Christmas so I have to get it!

Well I’ll be repainting the kitchen, since the color that I painted it turned out to be a lime green instead of the clover color that I was expecting.  Oh well, good thing I like to paint!  Have fun shopping for your gown, it’s a wonderful experience.

Fun plans, everyone!  Love the Christmas spirit!

We’re getting people together for brunch to review some Family to Family applications for assistance during the holidays.  The applications come NOT from the families in need themselves (it’s going to be a Christmas surprise for them!) but from the social workers assigned to the families that know they would need/appreciate the assistance.  Hubs & I started donating three years ago, & then starting bring friends into it last year.  We decided to make it an event, with brunch & play at the beach (live in LA, so it’s not super cold here).  We’re also shopping for a tree after mass on Sunday…can’t wait for that Christmas-y smell!
