Plant based, nutritious, protein snacks/meals

First off don’t worry about getting enough text in the first trimester. Baby takes what baby needs and tbh with the sickness just eat what you can. 

With my first I found cashew nuts were really good. Only down side is I now can’t eat them for the reminder of how sick I felt. sunshinewhiskey :

Do you like quinoa? It’s a great source of protein and other nutrients to help keep your energy up through the first trimester and is super versatile. I used to eat it as a hot cereal every morning and it’s also great in savory dishes.

Have you tried shakes with pea protein powder (like Orgain) and either pea milk or hemp milk? I throw chia seeds and peanut butter powder in mine too. Its so easy on my stomach but helps me get the protein I need.
