I’ll get straight to the point- I have a double chin. It’s hereditary and based on my grandmother and aunts, it’s going to get a hell of a lot worse as time goes on. A double chin and very round face on a slim girl just doesn’t look right, to me. When I look in the mirror, I feel like I have a size 0 body and the face of a size 16 girl. It’s just not an attractive pairing.
So I’m gonna get that fixed as soon as I can scrape up the money.
I really wouldn’t mind a boob job either. Mine are fine but nothing spectacular.
What do you ladies think? “Fix it if you don’t like it” or “Don’t change, no matter what”? Would you/have you changed anything with plastic surgery?

I say do what makes you happy. I’m 26 and have had no plastic surgery, but after I have kids I want to get my boobs done. I might do the chin thing too when I’m older. My mom is in her 60’s and it’s becoming more noticeable on her.

If it makes you happy why not. Go for it. I’m with ^ after kids we are getting the girls done.

The only surgery that I would remotely consider is doing my tits after kids–a lift not implants. I haven’t had anything done other than injectables once. I do think that Plastic Surgery is major surgery no matter how minor or outpatient they try to make it seem. So I would still think long and hard about even doing my breasts. I do think there is something kick ass about being able to accept your flaws but some people can’t move past it.

@musician32992: Add a poll 🙂
I haven’t, but I would if I felt the need. I’m not *for* or *against* it as it’s a very personal choice.

I have had a nose job and it was the best decision I have made. It did not fit the rest of my small features and really stood out.
I would also like a boob job but probably wont :/

Yes, I hate my nose and I plan to get a nose job as soon as we have the money for it. I also wouldn’t be opposed to a boob job and/or a tummy tuck after having kids. I wouldn’t go overboard with injections, etc but a few minor procedures to slow down the aging process? I’m all for it!!

@musician32992: I feel your pain in the double chin department!! I have the exact same situation goin’ on. It isn’t TERRIBLE yet, but I’m sure it will be soon, especially when I get pregnant!
I got breast implants almost 3 years ago and LOVE THEM. I was an A cup and now a D (although I look more like a C). Don’t regret it one bit!!

@MrsTillerResq: I’m debating the boob job- I’m already a 28Dear Daughter, so finding bras would be even MORE impossible. They just look like small B cups/large A cups. It’s depressing.

@musician32992: if it makes you feel more confident about yourself go for it!

I’ve had botox, if that counts, on the lines on my forehead. I’m only 27, but I had HORRIBLE eczema in college and it really thinned my skin out (I had to take steroids), so like overnight I got forehead lines. They bothered me SO much and now they’re gone 🙂

In the poll I’d like an option of “I’m not planning to get any, but haven’t ruled it out for the future.” Like some PPs said, perhaps after I have kids and my boobs are at my waist… but I’m nowhere near that stage at present, and otherwise happy with the way things are. If it will make YOU happier, then I say do it. Don’t do it if it’s to please other people.

After I finish losing weight, if my boobs are smaller than I want, I’m getting a boob job! I didn’t know you could get rid of the double chin. That’s really cool! I’ll probably get botax once I’m in my late 40’s, too.

I plan to get a breast reduction/lift after I have kids.
