@Daisy4:  I don’t have one but I understand that it is actually 95% sterling and 5% platinum. Would think that would hold up pretty well. Sterling silver is softer than other metals, so I would think one would have to be a little more careful with the prongs.

Any ring that is plated…white gold too…needs to be redipped. Find out if u can redip the ring. also it can’t be resized ..so if u loss or gain weight..u r stuck with a ring that won’t fit.

I don’t think they can be sized, I don’t know if that is a concern for you. I have a few platinum plated silver pieces though not from jtv. They are beautiful and have held up prettt well except the rings look black on the bottom where the plating has worn away, I need to look into getting them redipped or perhaps the platinum coating buffed off so I can clean and maintain the silver properly. I prefer my silver unplated personally but that’s just my own taste.

Daisy4:  I have had a platineve ring resized and it has been just fine. My jeweler said that as long as they know it’s platineve there’s not a problem. I bought a moissinite ring from jtv and I love it.
