I’m going with different metals too. I never really thought of that as an issue. It’s hard to tell without seeing the whole thing together, but I think it could look nice. I really liked stacked rings and I think as long as they have a similar texture, they should work! Good luck!

Can you show pics of your e ring?  just so we have an idea?

Very pretty!!!

I’d get the spacer… can’t hurt right?  And you could always use it as a RHR.

If you don’t get the spacer, the shape of your e ring band is curved, will the wedding band be curved or no?

I really wasn’t sure about the mixed metal but I think it will really make each of them stand out but not overpower each other

I thought you only needed a spacer if you were wearing a diamond band up against a metal band.  To prevent the diamonds from scratching up the metal.  (Ex: a prong set eternity band against a solitare).

I have a friend who’s been wearing a platinum ering and wg band for 5 years no problems.

I personally love the idea of a spacer. Would you get the spacer in the same metal as the engagement ring or as the wedding band?

@Jabberwocky:  i was just wondering because wouldn’t the spacer still rough up the engagement ring? Like not just one ring would get roughed up, would it? Or would the platinum not show any wear, just the softer white gold would?

I know nothing about mixing different metals, so sorry if that sounds stupid haha
