Hey Bees! I have a platinum engagement ring, and I’m wondering how it will pair with a silver/white gold/rose gold/etc. band. I absolutely love the Tiffany Harmony band, but I can’t shell out the money to get one at the moment and I’m looking outside of platinum for my wedding band.
I found a couple of alternatives on etsy that look like the Tiffany Harmony band…one is silver:
and the other comes in different gold options:
I’m a little bit worried that the difference in color between platinum and white gold/silver will be really noticeable. If that’s the case then I’m a little tempted to just go for rose gold or yellow gold to mix it up a bit. Does anybody have any experience with this? Show me your mixed metal rings!

cuscotopia : I decided to post pictures, since you haven’t gotten any responses yet. (Unless there is another post somewhere that I missed.)
My anniversary ring is platinum. I usually pair it with a platinum band, but I have also worn it with white gold, rose gold, and yellow gold.
White gold: I don’t notice any real difference in the metal colors between these two. The difference in color might be more obvious if you are pairing a solid (no stones) white gold band next to a platinum ring.
