You are a very pretty woman, and your features are gorgeous, especially your eyes. I don’t mean to offend you, but I think your eye makeup and lipstick color in these pictures is too pink. While your hairstyle is lovely, I don’t think the ombré color is flattering. I think you would look great with an all over honey blonde color.

@Barbiestylez:  Ohhh the second photo you posted is REALLY pretty! The copper under the eyes (instead of black) would look gorgeous! Also, pro photog tip: it sounds weird, but if you put white eyeliner in the inner crease of your eye on the bottom, it makes your eyes POP in photographs. You could do this while still doing the copper underneath like in the second photo.

@Barbiestylez:  I hear you about trying to find that balance. My makeup was a bit heavy (but I’m typically a makeup junkie). The only suggestion I would make is to take pic close up after your trial and also take some far away, that way you can see how your makeup will show up in your pics that will be from farther away.

I definitely love your hair more this way! I think the bangs flipped over like that is very sexy! 🙂

As for the make up, I love the pink lips on you better than the peach but maybe more a blush/rose/natural pink rather than the bright pink you’re wearing would look better to me.

I am not a fan of the pink eyeshadow with the pink lips – too much pink for me! haha

I really liked the smokey eye with gold that was done in your make up trial, but maybe blended better. I think the smokey or bronze/gold eyeshadow would be sizzling! 🙂

@Barbiestylez:  OMG woman you have skills…..I LOVE your DIY hair! OMG save the $$

Ok so pink is your color….looks fantastic on your lips but on your eyes its a lttle too much pink and needs a little more dimension. What about something like this?

Here it kinda incorporates your first makeup look with the brown mixed with your 2nd look of the pink

The color on your eyes will make you look sick and/or have the bruised eye look.  Also you look way too flushed now!  Taking into account the lighting, but professional photos will just wash you out more.

You are a very pretty girl, but you are hiding that pretty girl under too much makeup, flourescent pink, and lip gloss that goes outside your natural lipline.

I think you would look so much more beautiful if you toned down the makeup.

This video has a really pretty bridal look with a slight wing that isn’t stripperish.

Also keep in mind – even if you wear your makeup this heavy and colorful normally,….in 30 years you may look back because it’s quite “trendy” and be like ahh! I did that?   I would stick to naturals or softer colors…to avoid looking overly made-up.

I really liked neutrals on you, you can play around with lip stains more as well without looking like barbie.

I love your hair!! I would say to blend the make up a lil better. I love the colors and although they are not your typical bridal colors I think they look great on you, just a little more blending beacuse they are bold colors. You are gorgeous!

Psh. Do your own hair an makeup. You look like you know what you are doing and it looks stunning to me. What you did on yourself looks so much more fresh and pretty to me. Like you aren’t trying too hard, but still look gorgeous.

It is quite colorful, which is just a personal preference thing. I think it looks really bright and fresh on you. And if you are doing your own makeup you can easily just go for browns and taupes for a more neutral look.

I HATE haing other people do my hair or makep beyond a blow dry or something. I am proficient with hair and makeup and they never do it right!!! haha.

I feel a pressure for mywedding to have soemone else do my hair and makeup because it is “nicer” and they will do “better”

I know what I prefer on myself and can execute it, so why would I pay for someone else to do it? And probably not get it juuuuust right

I’m in the minority.  I like the makeup you did yourself much better.  I think the pink tones suit you…you look very angelic.  Honestly, you are drop dead gorgeous either way – seriously.  But I prefer the second.

I don’t like the hair the stylist did.  The front is too close to your face and I don’t know wth is going on with the back.  I like it fuller like in the DIY picture.

@Barbiestylez:  I like your eye makeup color choices from yesterday better. The pink eye makeup looks too costumey. I know that some people said it was too much, but from what I understand, you want to add a little more eye makeup that you normally would so that it shows up nicely in your pictures.

I like the way you did your hair better. Beautiful!

I agree with others who have posted, the makeup is way too much. Way way waaaaaaay too much. I say pick one feature to emphasize, eyes or lips and make the other neutral. I know wedding makeup needs to be on the heavier side for photos, but blending is your friend.
