Disclaimer: this is showing up really small on my screen so I hope it’s going to look a little bigger on the post!
I created this using Mac Pages and want your opinions. I felt a little lost with fonts and colors. Four fonts felt like too many, but it ended up at 4. Our colors are navy, grey, light pink, and light green. I like the light grey and light pink for ‘Save the Date’ as it is very cloud-like, but I wonder if it’s too light to read. The navy font is then a sharp contrast.
What do you think? Any font, color, or other suggestions? Thanks so much for your help!

love it! the picture is perfect? maybe make the “save the date” part alittle darker in the same colors, unless the picture you posted shows is differently.

I LOVE IT! I agree with the PP, make the “Save the Date” a little darker… but otherwise, very modern and romantic and chic 🙂

I agree with pp, the STD writing needs to be darker as its very pale. The picture you’ve used is gorgeous though. So lovely.

I like it
I agree I would do the “Save the Date” a little bit darker &
the other text less dark… The black is too hard in my opinon. I’d go with a dark blue, dark green or whatever fits your color scheme.

Is it wrong that every single time I see STD on this site I think of sexually transmitted diseases? It makes me batty.
As for this particular STD, I think it’s a very cute photo. Nothing wrong with it.

I really like it but I read it as “the save date” rather than “save the date”. Hm.

@MsW-to-MrsM: LOL. Me too!
To OP, I like it! Agree with PPs. Make the “Save the Date” section a little darker, so it’s easier to read. I’d also suggest moving “the.” It does look like it says “the Save Date.”

@mrskwiat: Thank you!
@Ms.GoodEarth: Thank you, that’s exactly what we are going for 🙂
@Soon2BD-CBee: Thank you so much! This is our favorite of the bunch of our engagement photos 🙂
@Kili: Thank you! The text is actually a really dark blue.
@MsW-to-MrsM: LOL I know what you mean! Which is why I put a little ‘t’ in StD, if that makes a difference 🙂
@Dancing-in-September: OK, I’ll have to troubleshoot that one. I will play with the wording.
Here’s a revision with darker ‘save’ and ‘date’ and more navy blue font:
Thanks everyone for their input! I’m going to play with the ‘the’ to make it look less like ‘the save date’, but am heading into work soon so this is what I had time to do 🙂 Thanks again! Any other suggestions or thoughts are welcome!

@Skittles131: Date Twins!
I also read it as “the save date” b/c of the design with the “the” on the left. Not a big deal and I’m sure people will get it/reread it correctly. But I would be curious to see the “the” on the right (same type of format and in the same place).
It looks great.

@Skittles131: the color is better 🙂 maybe you could put the “the” a little behind the “save date” and put more space between the two? just a thought. the lighter font of the “the” would stand out behind the pink

I would space out the save the date part – making the “the” behind the other two words and more like:
save – the – date
I hope that makes sense.
or maybe right align the who thing?
LOVE THE PHOTO!! fricken gorgeous!

It’s really cute but to be perfectly honest, at first glace, every time i see it, it reminds me of a teen romance novel…i’m not sure why and i’m not sure if it’s bad thing but I had to put it out there…

@_Adelaide_: Thank you!
@MsGinkgo: LOL. I’ll take it!
So, now which one do you like better? ‘the’ right aligned? Or Save the date all aligned?

I like the “save the date” all in one line. Sorry for just jumping in! Hope that’s okay.
