Can anyone offer any feedback/suggestions on my save the date postcards? I made them myself using Picnik (though my inspiration was a design from Wedding Paper Divas). Would you do anything differently?

I think they’re super-cute, but the fact that your names are in lowercase while everything else is in caps kind of throws me off.

I think they are cute! I actually would switch the big picture on the front w/ the B&W one on the back (I just love that picture!) And w/ that one in B&W you would be distinguishing the big one on the front… but just me =) I would possibly make the “save the date” a bit larger, so that it comes up to the top of the 3rd picture on the right, and maybe space out the writing more so that it comes all the way to the bottom. But I tend to be a symmetrical person!
But just like that is adorable, too!

I think it’s a very nice Save the Date as is. I actually like the lower case names so your names stand out. On the back, I don’t think it’s necessary to repeat: Your names, date, location since it’s on the front. With the STD’s I think LESS is MORE. Just my humble opinion. Great pics

@blingybride: Agree. They are adorable but maybe less is more??? Just a thought, even if you went with these they are super cute!

I think they are great! I like the big picture on the front because it includes your faces 🙂 I agree that the picture on the back is adorable, but I think that having it by itself makes it stand out too, so you got that covered. Great job!

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I took out the date and location on the back so it just says “Jamie ______ & Aren ______ are getting married! We hope you’ll come celebrate with us!” and made a few other tweaks based on your feedback. I also replaced the vertical line on the back with a small vertical line of script that says “aren&jamie aren&jamie aren&jamie”.
I hope they look OK when they print! I’m going to order them from VistaPrint tonight.
Thanks again! I really appreciate your suggestions! 🙂

I think it’s ok that the names are lowercase, but they should be so much bigger. It’s about yall. can we flip your names with “Save the Date”? In fact Save the Date doesn’t technically need to be there. People are going to know immediately that this is a save the date.

I think the way you’ve broken up the wording on the back is funny.
Try this:
Jamie
&
Aren
are getting married!
June 30, 2012
Lansing, Michigan
We hope you’ll come celebrate with us!
