I like the look/size of the palm tree bag better, personally – I use these kind of bags for all sorts of things while I’m not sure I’d have much use for the other, myself.

I love location-themed welcome bags so I think everything you’re putting in is neat.

I like the palm tree bag best:)

i think the contents are great so far maybe add some tissues, tea or coffee sachets, band aids are a great idea.

I think its fine to hand them out at lunch

I think it would be weird to pass out bags to only some people at the lunch,  as I assume the out of town guests won’t be the only ones there.  It would make me raise my eyebrows if I wasn’t from out of town and saw this happening.

Maybe you can deliver them to the hotels on the 3rd?

@LilDrAnya:  I think the contents need a little sprucing up, In My Humble Opinion. I agree with you, it seems like too few items in a large bag. I do LOVE the canvas tote with palm trees though! Super cute & fits the theme!!

    We are doing:

    • Plastic sunglasses (for photo opportunities, of course)
    • Flip-flop bottle opener
    • Personalized beer koozies
    • Bath and Body Works mini-hand sanitizer
    • Chapstick
    • 1 bottle of water
    • 2 travel packets of Tylenol
    • 2 travel packets of Advil
    • Bandaids
    • Snacks: Trail mix (FI favorite) & cheese-its (my favorite)

Hope this helps some! You cannot go wrong with bottled water, and a little emergency kit of tylenol/advil and bandaids. Mini-hand sanitizers are great too.

@LilDrAnya:  Personally, Tylenol works best for me. Advil works best for Fiance. So we included both ๐Ÿ™‚ Also, I work in a pediatric intensive care unit so I know about drug reactions. Research shows that it takes an excessive amount of tylenol to cause a problem when taken with/near time of alcohol consumption. ๐Ÿ˜‰
