As someone who spends a goodly part of her time speaking only French, I don’t find it odd or creepy when someone refers to their ring as “her” or “she,” as Ring is a feminine noun in the Rimance languages, and would be referred to that way, exactly. So, no bigs. 

 

As as for calling your ring your “baby,” eh. Whatever floats your boat, no?
