Wow, that table is simply gorgeous!! I think the tall candles are a beautiful touch, and I also really like the baby’s breath. I wonder if you could combine the two ideas, with candle-holder size vases of the baby’s breath so it doesn’t detract from the gorgeous roses, and the beautiful rose scent.

I personally like baby’s breath, but I am biased because I’m  using it too 🙂

I like the baby’s breath – they look like lovely trees. I wouldn’t worry about appearing cheap… I think I’m going with carnations for my BM’s… not b/c I’m cheap, because I like the way it looks!!!!

OH! Sorry for the confusion. I thought you were planning to try to merge the low tables with the high baby’s breath. But they will be at separate tables! I see. Both styles are lovely, and I think it depends on the style of all the other details. In fact, you may be able to make your decision based on the style of your dress! I think the low tables have a softer, sweeter feel, and the high centerpieces give a more formal, dramatic look to everything.

Here’s a pic of my centerpieces, which aren’t going to be all that helpful since mine was a brunch ceremony, but perhaps some inspiration anyway:

All of our centerpiece vases are going to be filled with babys breath…I have vases with various heights that I’m using! I will be posting on the regular blog with my trials, etc very soon – check in! 🙂

I love baby’s breath. I think it’s a refreshing soft element. Check out this post on it from Peach and Pearl: http://peach-pearl.blogspot.com/2009/10/board-no-52-bond-babys-breath.html

Definately cool. And I don’t think in this economy, people should be worried with how much you spend. The key is to find a way to arrange it that looks planned and thought out, versus rushed and last minute. I really like the mono-chromatic arrangments, whether it be baby’s breath or hydrangeas. (I’m going all white myself.)
