You need to call the county you were married in and ask them. Also, what do you mean by Mairraige? Marriage certificate? Did you get a lic. from the county? Did your officiant sign it and turn it in? I think we need a few more details.

did you get a copy of your marriage license from the town you got married in?  where i live you have to buy it after you get married. 

why don’t you send a certified letter to the department of records in the town you got married in asking them for a written response as to your marriage certificate and why there is no number on it?  i know doing things by mail is a bigger pain than picking up the phone, but it usually gets into the proper hands when you write a letter.  and you have a record of your efforts.

also, do you have an attorney friend who can help you?  things tend to get done a lot quicker when an attorney sends a letter.
