So today my frosted votive candle holders arrived, all 144 of them. I bought them online and no where did i see anything that said that these candle holders were ever so slightly tapered. If they had I would not have purchased them already knowing that the straight vellum votive wraps I have to put around each candle holder would not fit correctly. Well tonight I went to start working on my candles and low and behold, my vellum votive wraps do not fit properly! The candle holders are slightly tapered afterall. UGH! Obviously the wraps are straight.
So here I am, freaking out now because I don’t know how to fix this problem!!
Are there any bees out there that might know of any solutions on how to make straight vellum wraps work with ever so slightly tapered candle holders??
Any advice, except of course to be told to return the candle holders (which is not an option) would be appreciated! [attachment=528613,69550] [attachment=528613,69551]

Okay I was able to post a couple pics of the problem. Its slightly crooked on the front and the at the back it goes up along the bottom…well you can see for yourselves :o)
I may have found a fix, though it means a TON of extra work, tracing and cutting out each and every votive wrap. But for the past 15 minutes my wonderful fiance and I have been trying to come up with something and HE actually may have come up with a solution! He continues to surprise me haha
I would still like to hear other ideas though if anyone has any to offer please! Greatly appreciated in advance!

Can you lay the vellum wraps at the base of the candle votives and cut a row of scallops across the top so that it will look less crooked. I’m not sure how it would look but it’s just a suggestion. You may have to just use the candle holders, which I think are great by themselves. I had clear ones that I used on the day of the wedding. Attached is a picture of them near the wedding cake.
