So our photog is charging 700 for a wedding photo album, so if we want 2 for each set of prents, that would b 1400!! SooOooo are there some other options that’ll still look elegant ad “well – put – together” like those pro wedding albums that we do online???
I just don’t hve enough $ or not willing to put out that much..
Anyone ever use snapfish, walgreens or other places for photo books/albums and how did it look??? and how much??

@ifheaven: I put together our wedding album and both parent albums using Adoramapix. They have a very user friendly site and print on photo paper, so while it won’t last as long as a pro album it is a better quality than snapfish or shutterfly. I’m happy with the albums.
Our album ended up costing $80 and the parent albums were $30 each, but at the time I ordered Adoramapix had coupons that I used. Had I paid full price I think our album would have been ~$130 and the parent albums would have been ~$60 each.

@ifheaven: A friend of mine used Walmart.com and her album came out beautiful. Of course, you have to get the images from the photographer first. Sometimes that can be difficult. However, as a PP mentioned, Adorama Pix is great, and the end result is a beautiful album that is much cheaper than what a photographer charges. You have to be diligent though. So many couples say they will do their own, and procrastinate. I wish you luck and hope your pics are gorgeous!

I have used Jessops for a photobook and it came out great. Just make sure all your images are high res and it should be fine. My friend used photobox (which you cant get in U.S) and it turned out great. She had done it for all her holiday albums as well and all of her pictures just look great, all neatly displayed on her shelf and it looks so much better than all these random sized albums and loose pictures around the house. By the time she got round to doing it for her wedding she was a pro.

I don’t know how much money you are willing to spend, but I used Black River Imaging and made a pro quality book for $250. It came out beautiful. I also made two of their “photo albums” and they were $70 each.

MyPublisher. I’ve made several photobooks with them- they’ve all turned out great. And they are constantly having buy one/get one or halff off deals, which will be great if you are getting them made for sets of parents.
