Have the wedding invitations already gone out?

If so, I’d just say. I’m sorry, she got her invite and I do not feel right telling her that she’s not allowed to come.

Just stand your ground.

I think the context of this situation involves what exactly the friend said…was she saying mean things to your fiance at her party? Because that’s really not cool.

Is your fiance a little jealous of your relationship with this friend? Maybe a little uncomfortable?

No matter what, you need to reassure your fiance that you love her, you’re on her side and you want to make her happy but that you also want to make her day as happy as possible which includes limiting the amount of drama. Univinting friends causes drama.

I suspect your fiance wants you to stand up for her and you’re maybe coming across as choosing the friend over her.

Was it one of those over the line comments or just something your finacee took exception to? I know it is only a few weeks to your wedding since we share the same date, but is there time to calm her down between now and then? Maybe wait a few days till tempers cool?

I’m sorry I’m confused. You Fiance had a “batchelorette” party or a batchelor party? Or a joined party where boys and girls were invited?

I wouldn’t uninvite them. Your finace will not be focused on the roommate on the day, just move past it.

ooooooo mentioning you were the groom would have been helpful (dont find many guys on here). If invites have already gone out I would just tell your Fiance it would be rude/uncomforable to uninvite her.

@rushort: Sorry, I assumed you were a female Bee.

The only thing I can think of for a bride to react like that is if either there was or she thinks there was some kind of history between the two of you. I cannot imagine any other reason for her to react so strongly.

@rushort: Wait, she is calling off the wedding over this one person? I wish you all the best and I hope things can get sorted out. That seems like an extreme reaction.
