Ok, the original concept for the wedding was to have the guys in navy suits and the girls in grey dresses. The dresses that I found to give the girls some options ended up being a little darker than anticipated and now I am second guessing my decision.
Does everyone think this color scheme still works or have any ideas to pull it all together (I still have time to change the colors up). This is for a winter rustic wedding with a burlap and lace theme.

@chelleyray: I think navy and grey would go well together but I’m not sure about the black sash around the BM dress, also what type of venue and time of day is the wedding? I am wondering if those choices will be a little on the formal side, or heavy, for a lace and burlap wedding.

@chelleyray: never mind I just looked all over Pintrest and they have so many formal rustic wedding pics that look amazing. It will look great. If you changed the GM suit to black i think it might match better with the sash. But I love the look of the navy suit, is there anyway to remove the sash? Or will that be too expensive?

Navy and grey doesn’t really read rustic to me. And those styles don’t seem like they’d play too well with rustic, either.
For example, imagine that bridesmaids dress with a pretty burlap and lace sash. Now, imagine that suit with a burlap pocket square.
The two options (if they are exactly what you’re thinking of, or pretty close) I think are going to look a little strange with rustic decor like you’re describing. Put simply, they aren’t rustic–they’re very formal and modern looking.
If you want to do rustic, IMO either the style of clothing needs to give, or the colors do. I think you could do rustic with light tan suits in that style, or sky blue dresses. Or if the guys wore blue and grey floral or paisley with suspenders and the girls wore flowing sundresses. But if you’re doing burlap and lace, and outfit your bridal party like this, chances are they will look a bit out of place.

@chelleyray: I love grey and navy for a winter wedding 🙂
The dresses are gorgeous but I think maybe an ice blue sash or metallic blue instead of black… otherwise they go great together

The pics were more to show the colors of the dresses, they won’t have the black sash… Also, these are just the pics of the suits, not the tie or pocket square that will be used.
Thank you all for your great advice though… I am feeling much better about it.
