Hi, I really need help, we are doing a July wedding in Scotland with a blue theme with touches of gold. But I’ve fallen in love with a blush gown which has thrown the colours a bit out especially as I don’t want the groom to know the dress isn’t white until the day 🙂 but I thought I could tie the blush colour in with the flowers so it wasn’t quite so & they won’t see the flowers till the day so it won’t give it away.
So my question is if the bridesmaids and guys button-holes are blush (possibly with touches of white or blue?) – what colours should my bouquet be ? Think a total blush bouquet might melt into the dress.
Also any flower suggestions? My mumsuggested lillys &roses but what else is there?
All help MUCH appreciated

I think peonies would be gorgeous! They’re typically whitish with a bit of blush on the tops of the petals, so I think they would stand out a little more. You could also use a bit of greenery to set them apart. I think it would be gorgeous!

Peony and Blue Mason Jar inspiration = wedding? HELP
I like the picture of the blue hydrangeas with the pink peonies. How about something like that with gold holding the bouquet together (either ribbon or fabric)

I had pink flowers, with gold and champagne, and blue accents. I think using the flowers to tie it all in is a great idea!

Even if you’re going to through a florist, check out fiftyflowers.com. You can search flowers by color, which can give you an idea of other flowers available in those colors. What if your bouquet was white/ivory with touches of gold? I think it would look gorgeous with all of your colors. And your bridesmaids bouquets and the groomsmens boutineers could be mostly blush with pops of white and gold and possibly blue? Just use blush instead of the bright pink in this picture.
I think the colors will all meld very well together and will be gorgeous! Best of luck!
