@ajohnson24:  I actually think you look stunning! What if you put on your dress, got your makeup and hair redone and did some after wedding shots with your hubby?

Personally, I think your photos look lovely. If you are really upset and want to do your photos over, you can re-hire your photographer for a small, additional wedding set. Do you still have your dress and veil handy?

Do a bridal shoot if you like.  It’s a lovely excuse to get all dolled up and wear your dress again!

First of all, you look beautiful!

Maybe you are just focusing too much on something you can’t change. The wedding is a huge day, of course, but it’s over now. Maybe you could pick up a new hobby or throw yourself into a new project. That might take your mind off your worries.

I am sorry you’re so unhappy with your wedding hair! For what it’s worth I think you look so elegant, timeless, and beautiful in all of those pictures! You have such a pretty face and with your hair pulled back it really showcases your beauty!

I second the bridal shoot idea or maybe do a 1 year anniversary shoot with your husband in your wedding gown? That should be fun!

@ajohnson24:  I think your hair looks lovely. I am all about classic, timeless looks. All too many people go with the fad look at the time and 10 years later look back and say, what was I thinking? Your hair style is elegant and not over the top. I really like it.

You really need to let this stuff go. It’s been six months. Are you happily married? Isn’t that what’s important? A lot of your friends might be getting married now so you’re comparing but in another couple years, this truly will not matter. It ALREADY should not matter. You can’t go back and change anything and the more time you spend obsessing the more you’re going to find wrong.

I say this with the utmost kindness: GET A GRIP.

@ajohnson24:  Are you sure that comment was on the hair or that you completed the look?

@ajohnson24:  oh honey! I have the same fears about my photos and I was thinking about having a re-shoot… I say, if you’re unhappy, GO FOR IT!

I wanted my hair down but knew it would have been tooooooo incredibly hot on my Sept wedding day so I wore it up and sometimes I wish I would have taken it down bc I was growing it out to have it long and beautiful and photographed but that didn’t happen… so now I want to have a reshoot and some may call it vain but you’re newlyweds and I think you should have no regrets!

You still have your dress and your hub so go ahead and get re-dolled up THE WAY YOU WANTED TO and go get those photos you want.

BUT

For the record, I think your hair is timeless and classic and you look incredibly beautiful!

It is very self-destructive to be comparing your wedding to the weddings of your friends… If you live your life this way you will continue to obsess over details you cannot change and a hierarchy that will never end.

I think its best to focus on the fabulous aspects of YOUR wedding and you can recognize the mistakes you made but realize you cannot change them back then but can only try today & in the future…

Have your shoot so you can get more pix of you and your hubby at this time in your life, hold your head high and move onwards & upwards!
